Coury hired
as manager of Convention & Visitors Bureau Colleen Coury joined the Chamber October 15 as Executive Director of the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Coury, originally from Pennsylvania, graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Sociology. Before joining the Chamber, Coury was employed as the Marketing Manager for WLJT-TV in Martin, Tennessee and in Public Relations and Marketing at the Northwest Pennsylvania Visitors Bureau in Brookville, PA. Coury’ job duties with the CVB will include promoting Jackson and the surrounding area as a destination for visitors and as a meeting site for organizations and business groups, and responding to leads and requests for proposals for meetings, conventions, and special events.
