Skinhead Arrests bring Black Panthers
to Alamo TN

by Keith Sherley

Keith Sherley was the only reporter in the crowd as Panthers spoke to the residents gathered. Attached is an audio clip from part of that rally. Photos 1 – 4: New Black Panther National Field Marshall Najee Muhammad meets Alamo Police Officer Patrolman Cole and shows him the recruitment flyer from the NBP Party. They discuss the ideals of the Party as Panther Soldiers look on and watch the area. Patrol Officer Cole greets a few of those beginning to gather.

A crowd starts to gather to listen. Notice the soldier holding a closed fist towards the camera, their symbol of Black Power. Notice in this photo a crowd gathering in front of the building far in the background of mainly white onlookers.
Black Panther Soldiers were vigilant in keeping watch
Najee and chapter leader explain to a crowd of about 20 – 25 why the Panthers are necessary and what each of them can do to help or to be part of the party. Crowd age ranged from young school age to elders.
