Man who Robbed Delivery Driver Arrested

Duane Andre McLemore, age 22 of 905 Lane Avenue has been arrested and charged for the December 1, 2007 robbery of Mr. Xing Ti Yang (pronounced Sheen Ti Yan) at 905 Avenue – Lanecrest Apartments.

Mr. Yang delivered an order to the apartments about 3:35 p.m. Saturday where he was confronted by McLemore who pointed a handgun at him and took the food valued at $30.73.

Responding Officers located McLemore hiding inside Apartment 23 and arrested him. Officers located him hiding inside a closet. A .45 caliber handgun and the food were recovered.

Duane McLemore was arraigned in Jackson City Court at 1:30 this afternoon and is being held on $50,000 bond.
